We are a group of creative writing teachers. We are compiling Twitter-style adaptations of classic literature for our students. We are not finished.
We are, however, close.
this is our first challenge – translate traditional fairytales into twitter feeds.
this is the section that is currently in progress.
so, why start with fairytales, you ask?
simple.
they’re short.
they’re well-known.
they’re somewhat universal.
they have a limited character count.
and, most importantly, students can create these in a single class period and be satisfied with the results.
what’s next after fairytales?
the bard, of course.
